where i live by Eileen Spinelli

This is my favorite blue bonnet so far this year! It is written in a circular style which is often hard to find. What does "circular style" mean?
This book will be loved by all ages and has some great vocabulary words. What words did you not know and how did you figure out what they meant? (For example: the word nebula is used frequently in this book. What does it mean? Give text support for how you figured this out - page number and sentence).

Someone Named Eva by Joan M. Wolf

This book is historical fiction and takes place during Nazi occupation of Germany. It tells the story about a child who is taken from her family and taught how to be a "Nazi". It is an interesting story because it deals with a part of history that is not found in literature very often. Questions for readers of this story: How would you feel if you were taken from your family and forced to learn to live a new lifestyle and new language? Why do you think it is important for a story like this to be written, read, and shared?
