What To Do About Alice by Barbara Kerley and Illustrated by Edwin Fotheringham

This is a very cute, easy reading, book about Alice Roosevelt - Teddy Roosevelt's daughter by his first wife. Vocabulary words are BOLDED, so it is a great book to use to teach context clues and word choice (for writing). This book is a Biography and ties in with U.S. History.

My question/writing activity for students: If you were the Presidents child what would your life be like? What expectations would people have for you? Would you go to a public school, private school, be home schooled...? Consider these questions and anything else you would like to add about this question.
